The working principle of the double helix sand washing machine mainly includes steps such as material entry and rotation, impurity separation, impurity discharge, and sand discharge
1. Material entry and rotation: The sand and gravel to be processed enters the machine uniformly and continuously through the feeding port, and then falls into the sand washing chamber composed of two counter rotating spiral shafts. Two spiral shafts rotate at a certain speed difference and relative direction, forming complex material flipping and shearing effects, promoting sufficient mixing of materials, and accelerating the contact area between water flow and materials.
2. Impurity separation: With the rotation of the spiral shaft, sand, gravel, and water form strong eddies and scouring effects in the sand washing chamber. Impurities such as soil and stone powder attached to the surface of sand and gravel gradually peel off under the erosion of water and the flipping of the spiral axis, and suspend with the flow of water.
3. Impurity discharge: After thorough cleaning, impurities (mainly including soil, stone powder, and some light debris) are carried by the water flow to the tail end of the sand washing machine and discharged through a dedicated sewage outlet.
4. Sand discharge: The cleaned sand moves along a specific trajectory towards the discharge port of the sand washing machine under the continuous pushing of the spiral shaft. Due to the special design of the spiral shaft, the sand gradually dehydrates during movement and is eventually discharged from the discharge port in a relatively dry state.
